The label "too sensitive" usually gets thrown around by people who do and say mean things, as a defence mechanism. They'd rather led you to believe that your sensitivity is the issue, than acknowledge it's their lack of empathy. They wear their meanness as a badge of honour but I'd rather be "too sensitive", than be insensitive!
