Shipping Policy

PROCESSING POLICY:

  • Please remember, shipping time does not include processing time.
  • Due to high demand, the time it takes me to fulfil an order ranges between 2-10 working days (Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays.)
  • I know you're excited to receive your order but please be patient, I'm a one person small business and package each order individually myself.
  • If you need an order sent sooner, e.g. for a special occasion, I'll do my best to accommodate that. However, you must get in touch before you place an order, via email: kingsophiesworld@gmail.com
  • If preorder items are included in your order, it will be sent altogether when all items are ready to ship, to save you shipping costs.
  • After I ship the package, it's in the hands of the Royal Mail who will deliver it at the shipping rate you selected. 

 SHIPPING POLICY:

  • I cannot guarantee how long a delivery takes to arrive.
  • I am not responsible for any delays that occur once the order has been handed to the Royal Mail.
  • The customer is responsible for providing an accurate, valid and safe shipping address.
  • If you've made a mistake with your shipping address, you must get in contact within 24 hours post purchase via email: kingsophiesworld@gmail.com
  • If your order is returned to me because of an inaccurate, invalid or unsafe shipping address, the customer will be responsible for reshipment costs.
  • Please note, the Royal Mail does not deliver to PO boxes or parcel lockers. You must provide a residential or business shipping address.
  • If you're placing an order outside of the UK and you select the Royal Mail International Tracked shipping service at checkout, you will be covered by insurance in the unlikely event your order gets delayed, lost or damaged. However, if you select Royal Mail International Standard, you will be opting out of this added protection.
  • I reserve the right to refuse shipments to specific countries.
  • Items marked delivered by the Royal Mail are considered delivered for the purpose of replacements and refunds.
  • If your order is returned to me because you did not collect it from a pick up point, you refused to pay custom duties, fees or import taxes, the customer is responsible for the cost of reshipment.
CUSTOMS POLICY:
  • Please note, orders sent outside of the UK may be subject to customs duties, fees and import taxes imposed by the destination country.
  • These fees are determined by your Government and/or customs authority.
  • The customer is responsible for all custom duties, fees and import taxes that may occur.
  • Please consult your countries' customs authority before placing an order for more information.
  • I am not responsible for any fees or shipping delays that occur because of any local restrictions that have been implemented when shipping your order.
  • For the reasons stated above, orders outside of the UK, can sometimes take up to 6 weeks to be delivered.
  • If your order is returned to me because you refused to pay custom duties, fees and import taxes, the customer is responsible for the cost of reshipment and getting in contact to arrange a reshipment.

SHIPPING COST:

  • Shipping costs depend on what shipping service you select at checkout. 
  • Shipping costs are calculated at checkout by the Royal Mail based on the weight, dimension and location of your shipment.

UK ORDERS:

  • All UK orders are shipped using the Royal Mail.
  • You can select from Tracked 24 or Tracked 48 at checkout.
  • Both shipping services offer tracking to delivery point, photo on delivery and SMS or email notifications to the customer.
  • The delivery estimate provided by the Royal Mail for Tracked 24 is the next working day.
  • The delivery estimate provided by the Royal Mail for Tracked 48 is 2-3 working days.
  • Please note delivery time is different to processing time. Therefore, selecting Tracked 24 at checkout, does not mean your order will be processed any faster.
  • Please note these are delivery estimates provided by the Royal Mail and I am not responsible for any shipping delays that may occur.
  • If a delivery is attempted but you fail to arrange a redelivery or collect your order from your local Royal Mail depot, it will be returned to me and you will be responsible for reshipment costs.
  • Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a shipping notification email, which will include your tracking number. 

EUROPEAN AND INTERNATIONAL ORDERS:

  • All European and International orders (any orders outside of the UK), are shipped by the Royal Mail's delivery partners in the destination country.
  • You can find out the delivery partner for the Royal Mail in your country here.
  • You can select from International Standard or International Tracked at checkout.

Royal Mail International Standard:

  • The delivery estimate for International Standard as provided by the Royal Mail is 3 weeks but can sometimes take much longer.
  • International Standard is not covered by insurance, so in the unlikely event your order is lost or damaged, as a small business, I cannot provide you with a free replacement or refund.
  • International Standard does not come with any tracking information, therefore I cannot provide you with a tracking number or any updates on your order once it's in the hands of the Royal Mail.
  • With International Standard, you will still be sent a shipping notification email once your order has been shipped but no tracking number.
  • If you want to be able to track your order, please select International Tracked at checkout.
  • By selecting International Standard at checkout, you are agreeing to the above terms and conditions of this shipping service.

Royal Mail International Tracked:

  • The delivery estimate for International Tracked as provided by the Royal Mail is 5-7 working days (Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays.)
  • International Tracked is covered by insurance, therefore in the unlikely event your order is lost or damaged, I can provide you with a free replacement or a refund. 
  • International Tracked comes with tracking. You will be sent a shipping notification email, including tracking number, once your order is dispatched.
  • I highly recommend you select International Tracked at checkout.
  • International Standard is more for people who want to place an order on a low value item, such as a sticker.
  • If you wish to upgrade your shipping service to International Tracked, reply to your order confirmation email within 24 hours and I can send you an invoice via my shop to pay the difference in price.

Please note: It has recently come to my attention that sometimes European and International postal workers don't leave a "sorry you were out card". If your order is taking longer than expected, you must contact your local sorting office to make sure it's not being held there for whatever reason.
