Sustainability
As a small independent business I try my best to be as environmentally friendly as possible and continue improving. I'm not an expert on sustainability but strive to keep learning.
Packaging:
All packaging I use for orders is made from recycled materials and can either be recycled or composted. Zero plastic is used, apart from in the adhesive for labels and tape, which I'm trying to find alternatives to.
The mailing bags I use are plant based and can either be reused (they come with a 2nd seal line) recycled or composted.
The clear bags I use to display prints, enamel pins and patches are plant based and can be recycled or composted.
The tissue paper I use to gift wrap is made in the UK from recycled pulp and recyclable.
The cardboard mailers I use for everything but apparel, are made in the UK from recycled pulp and recyclable.
The card I use to back enamel pins and patches are printed is made from recycled pulp and recyclable.
The thank you cards I put in with orders are made from recycled pulp and recyclable.
Merch:
I use a UK manufacturer for all pins, which are made from metal as opposed to plastic.
I use a UK manufacturer for all keyrings, which are woven as opposed to plastic.
All prints are made in the UK from recycled pulp.
The t-shirt brand I use is a member of the Fair Wear Foundation and OEKO-TEX standard 100 certified.
The hoodie and sweater brand I use is WRAP certified.
I often use upcycled vintage clothing to embroider onto and welcome customers sending me clothing they already own to embroider onto as well.
